Joyful Geometry
My love of working with ink comes from the ephemeral moment of surface tension when the ink glistens and flows onto the paper off the end of a glass pen and shines for just a moment before stabilizing and sinking in. Each touch of the nib brings a new moment of tension and release where all else falls away.
I have always been fascinated by patterns within patterns and the concept of a pattern so expansive that it’s unknowable. I’m continually inspired by the geometry of nature, architecture, astronomy, and form constants.
